iPod is full of risks and surprises

I have 5G iPod Video 30gb which is really good player. I can play music, videos and movies. Apple has published new 5G iPod games recently and I actually bought one. Texas Hold’em worked well and seemed to be really playable. The game is full of surprises and the graphics are stunning. Still, I would like to play other games too. Especially Pac-Man and Tetris.

I was searching ”iPod games” with google and I foudn couple of interesting options:

• Pirate versions of iPod games (my conclusion: won’t work without hack or crack and I’m no criminal) (Ben Sinclar’s article)
• iPod Linux (interesting option, but kinda risky)
• Other iPod hacks, like implementing Doom (far too risky!)

I’m not ready to risk my iPod’s warranty. After the crash I’m not able to fix my iPod. I think I’m going to buy my favourite games (4,99€) Mah Jong or Tetris and be happy without breaking the law.
